In this 3-day gorilla trekking adventure in Uganda, travelers embark on a journey through the Bwindi Impenetrable National Forest, led by experienced game rangers for a once-in-a-lifetime encounter with the majestic mountain gorillas.
Day 1: Bwindi National Park
Upon arrival, a knowledgeable tour guide provides an informative briefing about the upcoming adventure. The travelers are then conveyed in a comfortable and secure touring vehicle from Kampala to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the southwestern part of Uganda. The journey includes a stopover at the Equator for photos and a fascinating demonstration. Lunch enjoyed en route before continuing through the scenic Kigezi Highlands. The landscape unfolds with views of the Virunga volcanoes of Rwanda and the Congo, as well as the iconic Ankole long-horned cattle. Finally, the travelers reach the heart of mountain gorilla territory, the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking
Day 2 is the day of the much-anticipated gorilla trekking experience. After a thorough briefing by expert guides, travelers embark on this challenging adventure, carrying lunch and essential gear for the jungle expedition. The duration of the trek can vary from a few hours to the entire day, depending on the group being tracked. Guides provide insights into the surroundings and the gorillas’ way of life. After the trek, the evening offers relaxation around a campfire, nature walks, or unwinding at the lodge.

Day 3: Kampala
Start the day with an early breakfast before departing Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the picturesque Kigezi Highlands, often referred to as “Switzerland of Africa.” After regrouping at the camp, the journey continues to Kampala, with lunch en route, and arrives in the evening.
