4 Days 3 Nights in Nakuru, Mara, and Nairobi
Full Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi-Nakuru
From Nairobi JKIA to Lake Nakuru. Early breakfast at your hotel, depart and proceed to Nakuru. You arrive for lunch, then late afternoon for the late game drive. After the game drive, drive back to the lodge on a full-board basis and spend the night at your lodge
Day 2 to Day 3: Nakuru-Masai Mara
Early breakfast at your lodge, depart flamingo-fringed Lake Nakuru, proceed southwards, and turn right at Maai Mahiu to ascend up over the top of the Mau Escarpment and proceed to Masai Mara. Masai Mara is the climax of every safari in Kenya for its breathtaking views, wildlife, and birdlife wealth. It borders Serengeti to the north and supports a huge number of game, e.g., large herds of elephants, rhinos, giraffes, and buffalo, and their predators abound, e.g., lions, leopards, crocodiles, etc., not to mention the spectacular annual migration of wildebeests, zebras, and gazelles.
Lunch will be provided at your lodge. You’ll be accommodated at Mara Sarova Tented Camp or other specified lodges for the next two nights. After lunch and some time to relax and perhaps take a dip in the pool, you will depart with your driver guide for an afternoon game drive in search of the big five. As the sun starts to dip into the horizon, it will be the perfect time to photograph the beautiful Mara rolling plains. Remember, this is the perfect moment to spot the elusive leopard. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sarova Tented Camp (BLD)
Day 4: Mara-Nairobi
After breakfast, drive back to Nairobi, arriving in time for lunch at Toona Tree Restaurant. Later in the evening, a complimentary dinner at Carnivore Restaurant was hosted by Kenan Travel. Later, you will be transferred to the Nairobi Safari Club, the only all-suite hotel in the city (BLD).
