Day 1: Nairobi-Amboseli

You will be met by Kenan Travel representative at the airport or hotel briefing and then depart for Amboseli National Park. Situated under the grand mass of snow-crowned Mt. Kilimanjaro, Amboseli is a striking contrast to snaking lush green marshlands and dirty grey plains. The vast herds of elephants and plains of the game are a major attraction in this reserve. Upon arrival, you will enjoy an en-route game drive head to the lodge for check-in and lunch. Enjoy some rest and relaxation before heading out on an evening game drive. You will return to camp at sunset for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2: Amboseli-Lake Nakuru National Park

An early morning breakfast, proceed to another morning game drive to catch the beautiful backdrop of Africa’s highest mountain, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Thereafter, you will depart for Lake Nakuru, having lunch along the way. You will have a brief stopover at the Rift Valley Viewpoint for photography. Arriving in Lake Nakuru in the late afternoon, you will drive to Sarova Lion’s Hill for check-in, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Nakuru-Maasai Mara

After breakfast, you will have an en-route game drive as you depart for Masai Mara, arriving at noon. Proceed to Mara Serena Lodge for lunch. Masai Mara National Reserve is considered Kenya’s prime wildlife area. This is due to the stunning scenery of the acacia-dotted plains, where black-maned lions, cheetahs, and leopards are found in abundance. The Masai Mara is also home to elephants, giraffes, and genet cats, just to mention a few. The park hosts over 450 bird species, including the lilac-breasted roller, the national bird of Kenya, as well as other nocturnal birds. At 4 pm, you go on an evening game drive and return as darkness sets.

 

Day 4: Maasai Mara Full Day

After breakfast, you will enjoy a full-day game drive. Maasai Mara Reserve is considered Kenya’s prime wildlife area. This is due to the acacia-dotted plain scenery of stunning beauty where black-manned lions, cheetahs, and leopards are found in abundance. Elephants, giraffes, and genet cats, just to mention a few Mara also hosts over 450 species of birds, including the national bird of Kenya, the lilac-breasted roller bird, and other nocturnal birds. A visit to the Mara River is where you will get to see the huge crocodiles as they bask in the sun, and alongside them, you will also find hippos as they yawn their way to the surface of the water. As darkness sets in, you will return to the camp for dinner and overnight.


Day 5: Masai Mara-Nairobi

After an early breakfast, you will have a last-minute morning game drive around the park as you depart for Nairobi, making a stop at Narok Town where you will have lunch before proceeding. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight or hotel.
