6 Day gorilla trekking experience in Uganda

Day 1: Arrival in Uganda

Arrive at Entebbe International Airport. Transfer to your accommodation in Kampala. Welcome briefing and overview of the upcoming gorilla trekking experience. Evening at leisure to rest and prepare for the adventure.

Day 2: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest

Early breakfast at the hotel. Depart for Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. Scenic drive with stops for photo opportunities. Check-in to your lodge near Bwindi. Afternoon at leisure to explore the surroundings. Evening briefing on the gorilla trekking itinerary.

Day 3-4: Gorilla Trekking 

Early morning breakfasts at the lodge. Transfer to the park headquarters for briefing. Begin the immersive gorilla trekking adventure on both days. Spend time observing and photographing different gorilla families. Enjoy packed lunches in the forest. Return to the lodge for relaxation and group activities. Evening discussions on the day’s gorilla encounters.

Day 5: Batwa Cultural Experience and Nature Walk 

Breakfast at the lodge. Explore the rich cultural heritage of the Batwa people. Participate in traditional dances, storytelling, and crafts. Afternoon nature walk to discover the local flora and fauna. Evening at leisure or optional community engagement.

Day 6: Departure 

Morning check-out from the lodge. Drive back to Kampala or Entebbe. Optional stopovers for souvenir shopping or additional activities. Drop-off at Entebbe International Airport for departure
