Full Itinerary

Day 1 Tarangire

Our driver guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and depart with packed lunch for a full day game drive in Tarangire National Park. The Park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In places, the vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forest. The Park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest. These animals are closely trailed by a variety of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet! When darkness sets in you will proceed to our Lodge for dinner and overnight stay

 

Day 2 Tarangire National Park- Serengeti National Park:

After an Early Breakfast, check out from the camp area and embark on a safari to Serengeti National Park, on your way you will have an en-route game drive on a 5-6-hour drive. You will get to Serengeti in time for lunch, you will check in to your camp and have lunch and an afternoon game drive to the Serengeti will follow. Serengeti National Park is a popular National park and a home to many animals such as the wildebeest, zebras, lions, and leopard to mention but a few. After you enjoy the game drive you will head back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight

Day 3 Full Day in Serengeti

After breakfast, you will depart for a full day game drive with packed lunch to enjoy at the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world. Serengeti is unequaled for its natural beauty and scientific value; it has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. Serengeti makes the real deal as the annual migration for which Serengeti is perhaps most famous. You might also happen to witness the spectacular migration with over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras migrating from the south to the north-western plains of the Mara. After the game drive, you will go back to the Lodge to have dinner and overnight.

Day 4 Serengeti – Ngorongoro

After breakfast game drive while en-route towards Serengeti exit gate where you will have a picnic lunch, later on, you will continue to Ngorongoro Conservation Area, arriving there in the evening. Dinner and overnight

Day 5 Ngorongoro Full Day – Lake Eyasi

After breakfast, you will descend to Ngorongoro Crater for a 6-hour game drive having picnic lunch at the crater, you will have a game drive around Ngorongoro crater which is a world heritage site and the world’s largest unbroken volcanic caldera which is often referred to as the 8th wonder of the world where you will enjoy breath-taking views of scenery and the game can be witnessed from both the crater rims and within the crater. Late afternoon you will ascend Ngorongoro and drive to Lake Eyasi. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight

 

Day 6 Lake Eyasi- Lake Manyara

After breakfast, You will head to meet the primitive Hadzabe and Datoga people who are hunters and gatherers. This tour will include learning hunting skills using bows and arrows you can as well participate in hunting drills and traditional dances. In the Late Afternoon, you will embark on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Upon arrival, you will go for an evening game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. The park is truly a photographer’s playground and offers some of the best game viewings in the world. You can expect to see many of Africa’s most well-known animals, with the tree-climbing lions a particular treat. These proud predators lounge in acacia trees practically begging to be photographed. Bird-watchers will find Lake Manyara is an absolute delight, with a huge variety of birds on display in the park. Even the novice can expect to be amazed by large flamingo flocks, circling birds of prey, and the brightly colored lilac-breasted roller. At Sunset you will Return back to the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

 

Day 7 Lake Manyara Arusha

After an early breakfast early morning game drive in Lake Manyara park After proceeds to mto wa mbu and upon arrival, you will be guided by a community leader for a tour. The tour will include a trip to the Miwaleni lake and waterfall, a walk through the farms in the green oasis at the foot of the rift valley, climbing to Balaa hill from where you can see the whole town, and also a tour around the village where you will visit their market, and school and an orphanage. Moreover, you will have a view into the culture of the many different tribes living in the area and will be able to visit the development projects that aim at improving agriculture and start income-generating activities for the farmers. For instance, you will learn from wood carvings and how to do banana beer. Also, you will enjoy traditional lunch with the community members. Thereafter you will be dropped off at the airport/ hotel
