Full Itinerary

Day 1 Tarangire National Park

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro Airport, you will be received by a representative from Kenan Travel. Following this, you will embark on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, which derives its name from the Tarangire River that originates in the central highlands of Tanzania. The river lures thousands of plains game to its banks. Afternoon game drives en route to the lodge. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge (LDBB)

Day 2 Lake Manyara

After enjoying breakfast, you’ll set off on a journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara National Park is not only celebrated for its diverse bird species but also for the fascinating phenomenon of lions that are known to climb trees. Arrive in time for lunch. After an afternoon game drive until sunset, you’ll return to the lodge for your overnight stay. Dinner and overnight at Manyara Serena Lodge (LDBB)

Day 3 Serengeti National Park

Breakfast at your lodge, then drive to the Serengeti National Park, undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere. Arrive at your lodge for lunch. Afternoon game drive until sunset. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge (LDBB)

Day 4 Serengeti National Park

All day is spent in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon game drives. Meals and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge (LDBB)

Day 5 Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro enroute visit the Olduvai Gorge site of archeological findings, where traces of pre-historic man dating back to 3.5 million years ago. Arrive for lunch at your lodge. Afternoon at leisure. Meals and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (LDBB)

Day 6 Ngorongoro Conservation Area

After breakfast, depart for a half day tour of the crater floor. Return to your lodge for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Ngorongoro crater is the largest intact caldera in the world. Its enduring charm stems from its overwhelming physical beauty and the abundance of wildlife permanently resident on the crater floor. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge (LDBB)

Day 7 Departure

You’ll start with an early morning game drive, have breakfast at your lodge, and then continue to Arusha, where you’ll be either taken to your hotel or to Kilimanjaro Airport for your journey back home.
